Photographer

Why do I take photographs? And why landscapes in particular?

Photography for me is not just a means to an end -
it's like a second mother tongue.

"Photography is not just a means to an end for me, it's like my second mother tongue. A language in which I can express my view on things in a pictorial and creative way."

Stefan Hefele, born in 1986, has been working as a landscape and architecture photographer since 2010. His territory is the most diverse climate zones of our planet. From the tropics to the icy worlds, he wants to bring us humans closer to the sensitive intimacy and unique significance of nature with his emotive images and call for a respectful approach to creation. Light is everything. The search for the perfect light is one of the main characteristics of his works.

In the meantime, several illustrated book projects have been published by BRUCKMANN and FREDERKING & THALER. His most recent works are "Alpenwelten" and "Geisterhäuser". Cooperations and author calendars with GEO, his own photo wallpaper collection with KOMAR, a variety of different puzzles with the world market leader RAVENSBURGER, as well as many other national and international cooperations and awards and his passionate love of nature helped him to become one of the leading landscape photographers in Germany.
Stefan Hefele lives with his wife and two children in Bavarian-Swabia and travels from there all over the world.
